Nomadic and swamp birds no longer congregate in vast numbers to the manali-madhavaram lake because of the water body and the encroachments on the banks. The number of these natural worlds visiting the lake location on the fringes of the city has gone done since the 90’s.
The wetland here has been residence to a big inhabitant of the pheasant tailed jacan and the proliferation of this local genus has been unnatural, according to a recent study by Nature Trust.
I don’t know what the government is doing regarding this issue? Being an ardent fan of nature and that place being my favorite hang out with my brother I feel very bad to see that lake in a very bad condition.
